About the Role
Reporting to the Financial Manager and working closely with senior executives, this is a broad Company Accountant role with visibility across the entire business. With the Financial Manager planning retirement within the next 18 months, this opportunity offers a genuine pathway into a leadership position for the right person.
- You'll supervise the workflow of a small finance team of two while remaining actively involved in: Monthly management and financial reporting
- Forecasting, budgeting and financial analysis
- BAS, Payroll Tax, FBT and statutory compliance
- Payroll management and year-end reporting
- Accounts Payable and Accounts Receivable oversight
- Fixed asset management and reconciliations
- Insurance, fleet and banking administration
- Process improvement initiatives and special projects
- Business partnering with senior management
About You
- CA/CPA qualified or nearing completion
- Experience in a Company Accountant, Financial Accountant or Senior Accountant role
- Strong financial reporting and management accounting skills
- Experience across payroll and statutory compliance
- Previous exposure to leading, mentoring or supervising finance staff
- Commercially minded, proactive and hands-on
- Strong communication skills with the confidence to work closely with senior stakeholders
- Looking for a genuine pathway into a future Financial Manager position
