About the Prospect
CRC is experiencing continued growth. We are currently seeking an Inspector to join our team in Gympie on a 12 to 18-month employment contract, with the possibility of extension. This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced professional to play a key role in the successful delivery of DRFA and civil construction projects.
As an Inspector, you will:
- Conduct regular inspections of construction materials, workmanship and completed works to ensure compliance with project plans, specifications and industry standards
- Maintain accurate and detailed inspection reports, documenting findings, test results, non-conformances and recommended corrective actions
- Provide technical guidance to contractors, attend project meetings and recommend improvements to enhance quality and efficiency
- Ensure all construction activities comply with project specifications, relevant regulations and best practices
- Witness and verify material and equipment testing, reviewing test results for compliance with project requirements
About You
We are looking for a detail-oriented professional with a strong understanding of civil construction principles. You have a keen eye for quality, can assess project compliance and communicate effectively with contractors and project teams to ensure construction meets the required standards. Your experience and expertise will contribute to the successful delivery of infrastructure projects. Experience in the DRFA space is highly desirable.
Your Experience & Qualifications
Mandatory Experience & Qualifications:
- Minimum of36 months experiencein construction inspection or a related field
- Strong knowledge ofcivil engineering principles, construction practices and building codes
- Contract administration experience
