Pinewood Products Pty Ltd is seeking a skilled Wood Machinist to join our team in Gilberton, Queensland. As a Wood Machinist, you will be responsible for operating various machines. This is a full-time position, offering the opportunity to contribute to the success of a growing manufacturing company.

What you'll be doing

Operate and maintain a range of manufacturing pieces of equipment

Set up machines for the next run

Perform quality checks on finished products to ensure they meet required standards

Collaborate with the production team to identify and implement process improvements

Maintain a safe and clean work workplace, adhering to all relevant safety protocols

What we're looking for

Relevant trade qualifications or equivalent experience in wood machining or a related field

Proven experience operating a variety of woodworking machinery or sawmill equipment

Strong attention to detail and the ability to work with precision





Good problem-solving skills and the ability to work both independently and as part of a team

Knowledge of wood product quality standards and safety procedures
