As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our field operations, strengthen accountability and ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.

This is a hands-on leadership role with genuine responsibility for operational performance, systems and standards.

Operations Manager

Bundaberg, QLD | Full Time | Up to $160,000

As our business continues to grow, we’re looking for an experienced Operations Manager to lead our field operations, strengthen accountability and ensure work is delivered safely, efficiently and profitably.

This is a hands-on leadership role with genuine responsibility for operational performance, systems and standards.

The Role

You will be responsible for:

- Ensuring projects are properly prepared and ready to commence on time
- Maintaining pre-start, quality assurance and job-completion processes
- Leading weekly operational and performance meetings
- Monitoring labour utilisation, job performance, rework and callbacks
- Ensuring variations are costed and approved before additional work begins
- Completing job back-costing within five business days
- Conducting regular performance check-ins and appraisals
- Holding team members accountable while maintaining a positive culture




- Providing accurate operational data for weekly management meetings
- Developing practical systems and processes that support continued growth

Key Performance Measures

You will take ownership of operational outcomes, including:

- Labour utilisation above 90%
- Reworks and callbacks below $1,500 per month
- Timely job preparation, completion and back-costing
- Consistent compliance with operational and quality processes

What You’ll Bring

- Proven experience managing electrical, construction or trade-based teams
- Strong commercial understanding of margins, labour utilisation and job profitability
- Demonstrated ability to lead teams and manage performance
- Strong systems, planning and problem-solving capabilities
- Explicit and confident communication
- A calm, decisive and accountable leadership style
- Confidence using operational data to identify issues and improve performance
