- Assisting with the fabrication and assembly of shipping containers
- Performing welding tasks to industry standards
- Operating various hand and power tools required for container production
- Maintaining a safe and organised work environment
- Collaborating with the production team to ensure efficient and effective workflow
- Adhering to all relevant safety regulations and quality control procedures
- Training a 1st year apprentice boiler maker/welder.
What we're looking for
- Relevant experience as a welder, ideally within the trades and services industry
- Proficiency in MIG welding techniques
- Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
- Strong attention to detail and a commitment to producing high-quality work
- Good physical fitness and the ability to stand for extended periods and lift heavy objects
- Effective communication skills and the ability to work well in a team environment
- A valid driver's licence and reliable transportation
