Thrive by Pathways is a specialised health and wellness business dedicated to improving the lives of individuals aged 60 and older. Operating out of a purpose-built, luxury exercise facility, we support both community clients and residents within our co-located residential aged care facility. We develop and deliver evidence-based programs that enhance independence, mobility, and overall quality of life by providing personalised solutions to complex movement challenges.
We are seeking an enthusiastic Physiotherapist on a part time basis to join Thrive By Pathways.
The Role of the Physiotherapist
Support the delivery of a wellness and re-ablement model of care delivered by Thrive By Pathways.
Provide both assessment of client ability and develop and implement treatment interventions to improve client well-being, mobility and physical independence.
Facilitate both individual physiotherapy services, along with group based sessions of various sizes.
Work collaboratively with the residential aged care facility attached to Thrive By Pathways to achieve common goals for the residents and their families.
The Ideal Candidate
Will have current registration as a physiotherapist with AHPRA.
Can demonstrate experience in physiotherapy practice in a rehabilitation and/or community gym based setting,
with experience in Clinical Pilates and use of HUR strengthening equipment desirable.
Has an understanding of standardised assessment tools regularly used for the older population.
Has the ability to utilise manual therapy techniques such as ultrasound, heat, electrotherapy etc.
Excellent verbal, written, computer literacy and interpersonal communication skills with experience using Cliniko and Tyro preferable.
Networking skills and ability to work cooperatively with GPs, clients, residents, staff, other team members and relevant stakeholders.
