Location

Location: Sydney, NSW, Australia Energy Industry We are looking for an experienced EDP (Energy Data Platform) Specialist to support enterprise data platform initiatives within the utilities domain. The ideal candidate will have strong expertise in data validation, ETL testing, SQL, and cloud-based data platforms.

Key Skills & Experience

- Experience with Energy Data Platforms (EDP), Data Warehouses, or Data Lakes
- Robust SQL skills for data validation and reconciliation
- Hands-on experience with ETL and data pipeline technologies (ADF, Informatica, Databricks)
- Knowledge of cloud platforms such as Azure, AWS, or GCP
- Experience validating data pipelines, KPIs, dashboards, and reports
- Understanding of data models, metadata, and data governance
- Strong analytical, troubleshooting, and documentation skills

Key Responsibilities

- Validate data ingestion,



transformation, and consumption layers
- Perform data quality, reconciliation, and integrity testing
- Test batch and real-time integrations from SAP IS-U, AMI, CRM, MDM, and external systems
- Validate dashboards, reports, and regulatory data outputs
- Investigate data discrepancies and support root cause analysis
- Collaborate with business and technical teams to ensure data accuracy and platform reliability

Preferred Experience

- Utilities or Energy industry experience
- Exposure to Power BI, Tableau, or SAP Analytics
