Dux Hot Water The company is seeking a full-time permanent Network Administrator for our Information Technology team. This role will report to the Information Technology Manager and be based at Moss Vale in NSW.

You will be part of a high performing, small team of dedicated professionals. With your previous experience in managing and maintenance of Windows Server and desktop environments together with demonstrated skills in computer networks, you will join a team that is customer focused on delivering best of breed solutions. As a professional and self-motivated network administrator, your primary responsibility is to ensure maximum uptime of all systems.

You will be required to support various network infrastructure projects, troubleshoot and problem solve day to day user issues, and assist in supporting IT’s helpdesk.

Benefits: We offer a market-competitive salary commensurate to qualifications and experience for the right candidate. The salary range not including superannuation is between $85K - $94K. This is a full-time opportunity. You will be required to work from our office in Moss Vale, NSW Australia.

Task & Responsibilities

- Oversee and maintain the daily operations of the company’s computer networks. Install hardware & software.
- Maintain IT operations e.g applications, email, hardware, software and network security Optimise network security protocols e.g SSL, SFTP, VPN to ensure data is protected. Collect, understand and refine business requirements. Assess and evaluate various potential solutions to meet both business and operational requirements.
- Making recommendations to address weaknesses & inefficiencies in the company’s computer networks. Troubleshoot issues with LAN / WAN and any other network segments in the company. Conduct routine network audits.
- Participate in hardware / infrastructure purchasing decisions. Plan & execute hardware & software upgrades / patches. Configure newly purchased computers ready for use.




- Collect & analyse data to optimise network performance and availability. Onboard / Offboard users to the network. Ability to create network diagrams and documentation for design and planning network communication systems.
- Maintain & prioritise tickets in the company’s helpdesk system “Freshdesk”.

Qualifications & Experience

- Hold Tertiary qualifications in ICT and other relevant industry certifications in network engineering and security. At least 2 years’ experience in installing, configuring and managing LAN/WAN/VPN Management (Cisco desirable), routers, switches, WAPs.
- Strong understanding of computer network infrastructure. Backup systems (Veeam), Upgrades / patching of various Windows / Linux OS environments. Security and compliance (Cisco Umbrella, Cisco DUO, Cisco Secure Endpoint, Vulnerability scanners).
- Exposure in helpdesk (Ticketing) systems (Freshdesk desirable). Monitoring & maximising network performance. Good analytical and problem-solving skills.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills. Ability to develop new policies, processes and work instructions Superior technical documentation skills. Cisco hardware / software.
- Some experience in VDI (Virtual Desktop Infrastructure) implementation. Microsoft 365 / Azure administration.
