About the Opportunity

An exciting opportunity is available for a full-time Managing Pharmacist to join our dedicated team at St Ives, with an immediate start available.

We are seeking an experienced and motivated pharmacist who is passionate about delivering outstanding patient care, leading a high-performing team, and driving the continued success of the pharmacy. This role is ideal for someone who enjoys building strong community relationships, mentoring team members, and taking ownership of pharmacy operations.

Key Responsibilities

As the Managing Pharmacist, you will:

- Lead and oversee the day-to-day operations of the dispensary and pharmacy.
- Dispense and supervise the dispensing of prescriptions in accordance with professional and legislative requirements.
- Review and check prescriptions prepared by dispensary technicians and pharmacy staff.




- Provide expert medication counselling and healthcare advice to patients.
- Maintain high standards of skilled pharmacy services and customer care.
- Manage dispensary inventory, stock control, and ordering processes.
- Support, coach, and develop pharmacy team members.
- Ensure compliance with all pharmacy regulations, professional standards, and company procedures.
- Foster a positive, collaborative, and customer-focused team culture.

About You

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Current AHPRA registration as a Pharmacist.
- Previous experience in a leadership or managing pharmacist position (preferred).
- Strong clinical knowledge and a commitment to patient-centred care.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Exceptional organisational skills and attention to detail.
- Proven leadership, coaching, and team development capabilities.
- A proactive, positive attitude and strong work ethic.
- A genuine passion for community pharmacy and improving health outcomes.
