Commissioning Supervisors | 2:1 Roster | Central Queensland
About the role
Play a key leadership role in bringing significant new mining and processing infrastructure to life.
CE Group is seeking experienced Commissioning Supervisors to join the commissioning phase of a major mine redevelopment project in Central Queensland. The project includes a new washplant, tailings processing facility, switchrooms and associated mine-services infrastructure.
Working alongside our commissioning engineers, E&I; technicians, electricians and project leadership team, you will lead the safe transition of newly installed electrical systems and process equipment from construction completion through to operational handover.

- Competitive EA rates, penalties and applicable site allowances - $61.52 full-time or $76.90 casual, plus a $3.00 site allowance for all hours worked

Key responsibilities
- Lead electricians and E&I; technicians across pre-commissioning, cold commissioning, hot commissioning and operational handover
- Coordinate daily work fronts, crew allocations, commissioning priorities and interfaces with construction, engineering, vendors and operations
- Oversee the testing and commissioning of MCCs, switchboards, VSDs, motors, pumps, conveyors and associated process equipment
- Manage energisation planning, isolations, LOTO, permits, pre-starts and other commissioning safety requirements
- Ensure ITRs, test sheets, punch lists, handover records and commissioning documentation are completed accurately
- Monitor safety, quality,
progress and productivity while managing faults, defects, constraints and outstanding work
About you
- Current Queensland Electrical Licence or equivalent eligibility to work in Queensland
- Current Mine Supervisor qualifications - G1, G8 and G9
- Demonstrated experience supervising commissioning activities within mining, minerals processing, industrial or major construction environments
- Robust knowledge of electrical testing, fault finding, MCCs, switchboards, motors, VSDs, isolations, LOTO and energisation procedures
- Current CPR/LVR, First Aid, Construction White Card, Working at Heights and Confined Space qualifications
- Current Coal Board or MMQ Medical completed within the past five years
