About the role
We are seeking a permanent full-time Occupational Therapist to join our rehabilitation hospital. You will work across a diverse caseload including orthopaedic, neurological, reconditioning, and general rehabilitation patients. You'll collaborate closely with physiotherapists, speech pathologists, dieticians, nursing staff, and medical teams to deliver high-quality, patient-centred care.

Griffith Rehabilitation Hospital is a 58-bed specialised private rehabilitation hospital located in Hove, South Australia. We offer both inpatient and day rehabilitation services specialising in orthopaedic, reconditioning and neurological rehabilitation. Facilities include an onsite hydrotherapy pool, gymnasium and access to private treatment areas.

Key Responsibilities
- You will plan, assess, implement and evaluate clinical care in collaboration with patients/families and the multidisciplinary team to achieve identified goals and health outcomes. The Occupational Therapist will contribute to the coordination of clinical input, direction and guidance.
- Incorporate the provision of education and support to patients and their carer/family for the management of their health recovery, rehabilitation, discharge plans or end of life needs.
- Maintain accurate and timely clinical documentation.
- Commit to an ongoing learning and professional development portfolio to ensure case mix requirements are supported and registration requirements are met.
Essential Criteria
- Tertiary qualification in Occupational Therapy
- Current registration with AHPRA
- Experience in rehabilitation (desirable, not essential)
- Current drivers license
- Robust communication and teamwork skills
- Commitment to patient-centred care and continuous improvement
