Senior Youth Case Manager

Bundaberg | Full-Time Permanent | SCHADS Level 5

You'll Have The Opportunity To

About The Role

Working within our Bundaberg Youth Refuge and Family Units, you'll deliver high-quality, trauma-informed case management while providing day-to-day practice leadership across the service.

You'll guide young people to develop independent living skills, strengthen family and community connections, access education and employment opportunities, and transition into sustainable housing.

Alongside managing your own caseload, you'll coach and mentor your team, champion best practice and ensure every young person receives responsive, person-centred support.

What You'll Bring

You're a confident, compassionate leader who knows how to bring out the best in both people and teams.

You’ll Have

- A degree in Social Work, Human Services, Community Services, Psychology or a related discipline.
- Extensive experience supporting young people with complex needs, including homelessness, trauma, family violence and mental health challenges.
- Leadership, mentoring or senior case management experience.
- Strong knowledge of trauma-informed, strengths-based and culturally safe practice.
- Experience coordinating complex cases, managing risk and developing meaningful support plans.
- Exceptional relationship-building skills and the ability to work collaboratively across the community sector.
- A current Queensland Driver Licence and Working with Children Check (Blue Card), or the ability to obtain one.
