An opportunity exists for an experienced Commercial Credit Underwriter or Manager to step into a role that offers real influence and variety across a growing lending portfolio for an Australian digital bank.

This role is ideal for someone who wants to stay close to deals, partner with the business and play a genuine role in shaping outcomes. It also presents an chance for a senior commercial underwriter to step up into a leadership role.

The role:

End-to-end ownership of commercial credit decisioning across a range of transactions up to $5m in exposure

Leading and developing a small credit team, ensuring strong output and consistency

Working closely with BDMs, brokers and internal teams to structure and progress deals

Ongoing oversight of portfolio quality, including reviews and risk management

About You:

Strong experience in commercial underwriting within banking or non-bank lending

Exposure to more complex or non-standard transactions, especially alt doc

Experience mentoring or leading analysts
