About the Role

You will play a key role in maintaining a clean, safe and welcoming retail workplace for customers, retail staff and visitors. Our cleaners ensure the site consistently meets high presentation and hygiene standards that reflect our client’s brand image.

Hours: Monday to Friday, 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm

Duties include:

- Cleaning and maintaining retail areas, entrances, walkways, amenities, staff areas and common spaces

- Performing routine cleaning tasks, including vacuuming, mopping, dusting and waste removal

- Cleaning and sanitising toilets, washrooms and parent rooms

- Cleaning food court, dining or high-traffic areas where required

- Cleaning glass, windows, doors, mirrors and other surfaces to maintain a polished presentation

- Responding promptly to spills and other cleaning requirements throughout the site

- Replenishing consumables and ensuring supplies are fully stocked





- Emptying bins and separating waste in accordance with site procedures

- Reporting maintenance, security or safety concerns promptly to the supervisor or site manager

- Ensuring cleaning equipment is used, stored and maintained correctly

- Following cleaning schedules, safety requirements and site-specific procedures to ensure consistent service delivery

Our cleaners are the face of BIC Consolidated and play a pivotal role in delivering the service commitment we have made to our clients.

To be considered for this role, applicants must:

- Be an Australian Citizen

- Have no criminal record and be able to obtain and maintain a valid Police Check

- Be available to work Monday to Friday from 2:00 pm to 6:00 pm, with additional hours available as required

- Be available to commence as soon as possible

- Have strong time-management skills and attention to detail

- Be able to work effectively both independently and as part of a team

- Maintain a professional standard of presentation

- Have a reliable, flexible and adaptable approach

- Have a good command of the English language

- Be able to provide a Police Clearance Certificate, Tax File Number and superannuation details

- Have previous retail or commercial cleaning experience, which is preferred
