About the Role

Our client are seeking a motivated and technically minded Sales Engineer to join their growing team. This is an exciting opportunity for someone who enjoys building client relationships, developing tailored warehouse solutions, and managing projects from concept through to handover.

Working closely with clients, sales teams, and internal stakeholders, you will provide technical advice, prepare designs and quotations, and help deliver innovative warehousing and storage solutions across a range of industries.

Key Responsibilities:

Business Development & Sales

- Develop new business opportunities and build a robust customer pipeline.
- Manage and grow existing client relationships.
- Conduct client consultations to understand warehouse and storage requirements.
- Prepare quotations, proposals, and project cost estimates.
- Achieve sales targets and contribute to business growth.




- Maintain accurate customer records within the CRM system.

Technical & Design

- Conduct site inspections and surveys.
- Prepare warehouse layouts and technical drawings using AutoCAD.
- Develop practical and cost-effective storage solutions.
- Liaise with manufacturers and internal teams regarding designs and specifications.
- Ensure designs meet relevant Australian Standards and project requirements.

Project Coordination

- Work closely with sales, finance, warehouse, and project management teams.
- Ensure projects are delivered on time, within budget, and to client expectations.
- Support continuous improvement initiatives and maintain high service standards.

About You:

To be successful in this role, you will have:

- Structural, Civil, Mechanical or related Engineering qualification
- Proficiency with AutoCAD
- Strong communication and relationship-building skills
- Experience preparing estimates, quotations, or budgets
- Excellent time management and organisational skills
- High attention to detail and problem-solving ability
