About the role
You'll be responsible for carrying out maintenance, repairs and breakdown work on a variety of mining equipment while working safely within a high-performing maintenance team.
Duties may include:
- Preventative and corrective maintenance
- Breakdown diagnosis and repairs
- Equipment inspections
- Component replacement and fault finding
- Working safely to site procedures and standards
To be successful, you will have
- Australian Recognised Mechanical Trade Qualification
- Previous experience working as a Mechanical Fitter in mining, heavy industry or similar
- Strong commitment to safety
- Ability to pass a pre-employment medical and drug & alcohol screen
- Current Driver's Licence
- Ability to obtain low risk medical and pass drug & alcohol testing
