We have a permanent part-time Human Resources & Payroll Manager position available in Marrickville, working Monday to Friday for approximately 24-32 hours per week in our Marrickville Office or Brewery.
An attractive remuneration packageof up to $130,000k pro-ratais available for this role.
Reporting to the General Manager, this new role is responsible for the entire employment lifecycle for all our team members. You will lead recruitment, onboarding, support our venue teams with training and staff development, and ensure compliance with Fair Work. The role also carries direct responsibility for payroll management.
This role requires a diligent and strategic approach to building the best teams in our venues, as well as strong interpersonal skills and a commitment to fostering a diverse workplace culture where people are excited to come to work.
This is a people-first role, so being present, approachable and available matters. It's primarily an in-office role (around three days per week), working from home will be considered on a case-by-case basis for tasks that need focused headspace.
Qualifications,
Skills and Experience
A Bachelor’s degree in Human Resources
5 + years experience in a generalist HR role, ideally within hospitality, manufacturing or a multi-site business
Hands-on payroll experience, ideally with Deputy and Xero, across multiple modern awards
Strong working knowledge of Fair Work legislation and award interpretation
Experience shaping and delivering HR strategy, policies and procedures
Confident managing recruitment, on-boarding, training and off-boarding end-to-end
Skilled at coaching managers through performance, disciplinary and employee relations matters with discretion and procedural fairness
Experience coordinating Work Health and Safety, in line with SafeWork best practice
Able to manage the annual remuneration review process using a fair and consistent methodology
Excellent interpersonal, communication and stakeholder management skills
