Remarkable You Occupational Therapy – Brendale QLD

At Remarkable You OT, we've intentionally built a workplace where therapists can do meaningful work without sacrificing support, growth or sustainability.

This isn't just another Speech Pathology role. You'll have the opportunity to help build speech pathology at RYOT from the ground up alongside an experienced Occupational Therapy team who genuinely believe in collaborative care.

Here, you'll find:

- a caseload that is thoughtfully paced and manageable

- growth that is actively supported through supervision and professional development

- genuine input into your caseload and areas of interest

We're expanding to become a multidisciplinary allied health practice because we believe children and families benefit most when clinicians work together. We're looking for a Speech Pathologist who is excited by the opportunity to help shape the future of our services while delivering exceptional, family-centred care alongside our Occupational Therapists and Allied Health Assistants. You'll be our first Speech Pathologist, giving you the unique opportunity to help shape how speech pathology grows within our multidisciplinary team.

Why we do what we do

In my early years of motherhood, I spent a lot of time in therapy rooms with my son, often feeling uncertain and overwhelmed. That experience shaped my passion for building a team that supports the whole family, not just the child.

At Remarkable You OT, our vision is a connected community where young people are living remarkable lives.

We're a values-led team guided by Connection, Empowerment, Playfulness and Care.

What you’ll get

A Supported Start & Ongoing Growth

- Structured onboarding: including shadowing, joint sessions and gradual caseload build-up

- Supervision: Weekly or fortnightly external supervision with an experienced Speech Pathologist, alongside weekly team connection, peer support and access to both internal and external professional development.

- Professional Development: You’ll be allocated a $2,000 annual career development budget, with dedicated paid time to attend training so you won’t need to use your annual leave. We also understand that development needs vary,

and there is flexibility to support additional professional development where appropriate.

- Monthly check-ins and quarterly Growth & Goals sessions with me, Shayla- Clinical Director (Senior OT)

Real Support, When You Need It

- Ongoing access to your Team Leader & clinical report feedback drop-in sessions

Flexibility & Sustainability

- A sustainable workload designed to support quality therapy, professional growth and long-term wellbeing, with dedicated admin time built into your schedule.

- Flexible Working Arrangements: Choose a standard work week OR 9-day fortnight with flexibility to structure your hours to support work-life balance and sustainability.

A Team That Has Your Back

- A genuinely supportive team, backed by an experienced admin team who help therapists and families thrive.

- A fun connected culture with journal reviews, collaborative projects and show & share intervention ideas during weekly team meetings.

Growth & Chance

- Leadership opportunities + clinical passion projects + career progression

Set Up to Do Your Best Work

- Phone + travel allowance ($0.99/km) + admin-from-home flexibility

- Resources to keep therapy engaging and fresh

- Performance bonuses that recognise and reward your contribution.

Meaningful Work, In Meaningful Places

We offer a hybrid model (generally 3-4 clinic days, 1-2 mobile), supporting families across North Brisbane and Moreton Bay. We'll work with you to create a manageable travel zone or shape your role to be mostly clinic-based if preferred.

Our North Lakes clinic is light-filled and vibrant, and our two-storey Brendale clinic offers multiple therapy spaces to grow alongside our team and community.

In this role, you'll have opportunities to:

meaningful therapy plans together with families tailored to the goals of the child and family with communication needs.

- Deliver intervention to children and adolescents aged 0-18 across clinic and community settings. We'll work with you to build a caseload that reflects your strengths, interests and stage of career.

- Complete high-quality clinical documentation, including session notes and assessment reports.

- Facilitate fun, neuro-affirming, play-based group programs.

- Work collaboratively with families, educators and our OT's and AHA's to support consistent and holistic care.
