Grow your career in a supportive, neuroaffirming multidisciplinary team.

About the business

Spencer Health is a national health organisation, with multidisciplinary centres focused on the assessment and support of children, adolescents, families, and adults.

Our team services Hornsby, Gladesville, Mosman and surrounding North Shore suburbs, as well as Newport and Melbourne CBD.

Spencer Health brings together a highly skilled and collaborative team of clinical psychologists and registrars, registered psychologists, provisional psychologists, paediatricians, speech pathologists, art therapists, and an exceptional administration team.

We are recognised as a Centre of Excellence and are proud to be an employer of choice.

About the role

Due to ongoing growth and expansion, we are seeking a agile and engaging Registered Psychologist or Clinical Psychologist with an interest in child and adolescent psychology to join our team at our Mosman site.

We welcome applicants who are looking to transition into private practice in either a permanent part-time or full-time capacity. Contracting arrangements will also be considered, with generous fee splits on offer.

In this role, you will provide individual therapy, psychological assessment, and intervention for children, adolescents, and their families. There is also opportunity to expand your clinical work to include adult clients and group programs, depending on your interests.

Our clients present with a range of mental health and neurodevelopmental needs, and we are proud to be a passionate, neuroaffirming organisation committed to delivering high-quality, evidence-informed care.

As a well-established provider of developmental and educational assessments, there are also opportunities to develop and refine your assessment skills, supported by our highly experienced supervisory team.

Benefits and perks

Spencer Health is a large, highly regarded organisation operating within a private practice model—offering the best of both worlds. You’ll benefit from the structure and support of an established organisation, alongside the fulfilling opportunities of working in private practice.

We are deeply committed to professional growth, meaningful work, and a positive team culture, with genuine opportunities for career development across our organisation.

At Spencer Health, you can look forward to:

A friendly, supportive team of like-minded clinicians

Individual and group supervision

Ongoing training and professional development in areas of interest

Support to develop and promote your own area of special interest

Attractive remuneration and generous contracting options

Regular social events and team connection opportunities

A varied and engaging caseload

High levels of clinical support and supervision
