Pearl & Ash Cafe Bar offers coffee, sweet treats, cocktails, wine and high-quality gourmet food from 7.00am daily, serving breakfast and lunch. Our adventurous menu consists of fresh, locally sourced produce, as well as sustainable coffee. Pearl and Ash is all about fresh ingredients, consistent quality and dependable hospitality.
We are currently looking for an experienced Chef for an “Immediate Start" to join our busy team. Pearl & Ash are owned and operated by The Standard Market Company, located at the Ferry Road Markets in Southport.
If you are an experienced Chef who is passionate about creating and delivering delicious food. This role is perfect for someone looking for a excellent work and life balance.
Approximately 25 hours - Availability to work across 5 days per week, weekend availability essential.
What we are looking for:
- Dedicated to providing high quality food at a consistent level
- Previous experience running a section (highly regarded)
- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (ideal)
- Well-groomed and presented
- Strong organizational skills
- A positive attitude and can work well under pressure
- Must be able to take direction and be a team player
