Position Description

Analyst role within the Tax Division of a Mid-Tier Accounting Firm in Sydney.

Working across a range of different clients, industries, taxes and tax issues both domestically and internationally. This is a wide and varied role, one typically only found in a mid-tier size firm, not a highly specialised large firm.

Each day will typically bring variety and challenge across different taxes, it’s a mix of tax compliance, review of tax provisions and tax effect accounting entries, plus advisory. You will work directly with our clients and indirectly through supporting other divisions within our firm including audit and business advisory.

You need to live and breathe Tax with a passion and have strong tax technical skills, accounting skills and experience.

Role Description

We are looking for someone:

- Working toward your CA or CPA / Master of Taxation / CTA or equivalent qualification;
- 2-3 years post Degree Australian corporate tax experience gained at a Big 4, mid-tier accounting services firm or have relevant in-house corporate tax expertise;




- Excellent accounting and financial analytical skills;
- Solid collaboration and communication skills;
- A passion for client service; and
- A desire to learn and continually improve your tax technical knowledge
