QR_ is currently expanding its activity in Australia and we are looking for a Senior Test and Verification Engineer to join our Brisbane team.

The role:

Develop and execute Verification & Validation (V&V;) plans, procedures, and test documentation to demonstrate compliance with system and customer requirements.

Define verification methods, acceptance criteria, and traceability to ensure all requirements are adequately verified and validated.

Coordinate and conduct system, subsystem, and vehicle-level testing, including functional, environmental, integration, and acceptance testing.

Analyse test results, investigate failures, perform root cause analysis, and work with engineering teams to implement corrective actions.

Manage the verification compliance matrix (VCRM) and maintain end-to-end traceability between requirements, verification activities, and evidence.

Collaborate with Systems, Mechanical, Electrical, Software, Manufacturing,



and Quality teams to support integrated test and validation activities.

Prepare verification reports, test summaries, compliance evidence, and technical documentation for customer and regulatory reviews.

Support design reviews, technical risk assessments, and engineering change activities to ensure verification impacts are appropriately assessed.

Ensure all V&V; activities comply with Defence standards, contractual requirements, quality management systems, and applicable regulations.

Must have

Experience planning and executing Verification & Validation (V&V;) activities for complex engineering systems within defence, aerospace, automotive, or heavy vehicle industries.

Experience developing test plans, test procedures, verification matrices, and compliance documentation.

Experience conducting system integration, functional, environmental, and acceptance testing, including analysis of test results and defect resolution.

Experience in requirements management, requirements traceability, and interface management using engineering tools (e.g., DOORS or Polarion).

Experience collaborating with multidisciplinary engineering teams and customers to achieve successful verification, validation, and acceptance outcomes.

Qualifications and Education Requirements:

Eligible for NER and CPEng with Engineers Australia.

Ability to gain a Baseline Australian Security Clearance

Previous experience in the Australian Defence environment
