Key competencies (role specific criteria)
You will be assessed on your ability to demonstrate the following:
- A competent level of knowledge, expertise and skill in Transfusion laboratory testing. Recent experience in a hospital transfusion laboratory is highly desirable.
- Demonstrated ability to participate in a rotating roster which may include shifts outside of routine business hours.
- Effective time management skills, attention to detail and ability to focus in a highly process driven setting with competing priorities
- Demonstrated ability to work collaboratively as part of a team.
- Demonstrated interpersonal skills, client focus and ability to communicate effectively.
- Demonstrated knowledge of, and ability to comply with organisational policies and procedures, and assist the laboratory to comply with all relevant legislative, administrative, and professional standards including meeting NATA / ISO / TGA accreditation / certification requirements.
