We're currently recruiting for:
- Maitland
Supporting our community care team across planned and unplanned leave. While casual, demand across the service is consistently high, creating regular weekday opportunities, with most shifts worked between 7:00am and 5:00pm.
- Singleton / Muswellbrook
Predominantly supporting clients through ADSSI's Out of Hospital Care Program, helping older people transition safely home following a hospital stay. Monday to Friday, daytime hours.
What does the role involve?
- Personal care and daily living assistance
- Domestic assistance
- Meal preparation
- Shopping and community access
- Transport to appointments
- Social support and companionship
- Medication assistance (training provided where required)
- Monitoring client wellbeing and reporting changes
- Supporting clients to remain independent in their own homes

Essential Requirements
- Certificate III in Individual Support (Ageing and/or Disability) or equivalent
- Current NSW Driver Licence
- Reliable vehicle with comprehensive insurance and safe driving record
- Current First Aid and CPR (or willingness to obtain before commencing)
- A current, or willingness to obtain: National Criminal History Check, WWCC, NDIS Worker Check
- ADSSI strongly encourages all employees to stay current with COVID-19 vaccinations as recommended by the Australian Technical Advisory Group on Immunisation (ATAGI), the Commonwealth Department of Health and Aged Care, or NSW Health.
- Evidence of protection against Diphtheria, Measles, Hepatitis B, Pertussis, Mumps, Varicella, Tetanus, Rubella, (Influenza is highly recommended)
- As part of the application process, you will be required to undergo comprehensivepre-employment screening check.
