We're looking for an experienced Accountant to join our friendly Finance team at our Head Office in Nerang.

About the Role

As our Accountant, you'll play an important role in keeping our finance function running smoothly while supporting the wider business.

Your responsibilities will include:

- Preparing and maintaining accurate financial records.
- Managing bank, supplier and general ledger reconciliations.
- Processing and reviewing accounts payable and receivable.
- Preparing BAS and assisting with GST compliance.




- Assisting with month-end and year-end reporting.
- Preparing management reports and assisting with budgeting.
- Monitoring cash flow and company expenses.
- Working closely with the Accounting Manager and management team.
- Liaising with external accountants and auditors when required.
- Identifying ways to improve processes and increase efficiency.
- Providing general accounting support across the business.

About You

You'll be someone who enjoys working in a busy environment and takes pride in producing accurate work.

Ideally you'll have:

- At least 5 years' accounting experience.
- Strong experience using MYOB.
- Excellent Microsoft Excel skills.
- A good understanding of Australian accounting principles and GST.
- Great attention to detail and organisational skills.
- The ability to prioritise and meet deadlines.
- A positive attitude and willingness to help wherever needed.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to work well with others.

A qualification in Accounting, Finance or a related field is preferred but not essential if you have strong practical experience.
