Your NewRole
You will be a valued Educator who provides high quality practices toensure a safe, inclusive, and engaging environment for children.You will be responsible for interacting with and effectivelysupervising the children while working as a team to deliver a high-quality and seriously fun programs with children. - No formalQualifications are prerequisite for this position
QualifiedEducators require a Minimum Certificate III qualification in anarea relevant to working with children.A range ofstudy areas may be recognised including: behavioural science,community services, creative arts, education, nursing,physiotherapy, occupational therapy, speech pathology, sportsand recreation and human welfare studies. - Experienceworking within the Fun Squad or long day care sector(desirable)
- Ability torespond to the needs of children to ensure high quality funmeets agreed standards
- Hold a currentFirst Aid and CPR certificate (or able to obtain)(desirable)
- In someservices, hold a light rigid or medium rigid driver’s licence,eligible to obtain an RDA (if undertaking Bus Drivingduties)
- Hold aQueensland Transport Driver’s Authorisation Card (ifundertaking Bus Driving duties)
