Aged Care Kitchen Supervisor

Lead a kitchen where food truly matters.

We’re seeking an experienced and motivated Kitchen Supervisor to lead a small, dedicated hospitality team in a modern, purpose-built aged care environment in Gordon.

This is not your typical kitchen role you’ll be part of a team that understands food is a core part of dignity, comfort, and quality of life for older people.

Working in a brand-new, fully equipped commercial kitchen, you’ll take ownership of daily operations, lead staff, and ensure residents receive nutritious, high-quality meals tailored to individual needs.

Your impact

You’ll play a key role in enhancing residents’ daily experience by ensuring meals are:

- Nutritious, appealing,



and tailored to individual dietary needs
- Compliant with IDDSI texture-modified standards
- Delivered consistently with high standards of food safety and presentation

You’ll also:

- Lead and support kitchen staff in day-to-day operations
- Manage stock, ordering, and inventory control
- Oversee rostering and workflow planning
- Maintain compliance with food safety and aged care standards

About you

- Certificate III in Commercial Cookery (essential)
- Experience in aged care, healthcare, or high-volume catering kitchens
- Strong leadership and team supervision skills
- Confident managing stock, rosters, and kitchen operations
- Passion for delivering high-quality meals to older Australians

Requirements

- Current Police Check (or willingness to obtain)
- NDIS Worker Screening Check (or willingness to obtain)
- COVID-19 vaccination compliance
- Full Australian working rights
