We are currently seeking experienced Labourers with arboriculture experience to join a busy council operations team based across Petrie and Arana Hills.

This is a hands‑on outdoor role working across parks, roads, drains, and infrastructure maintenance projects. Candidates must be reliable, safety‑focused, and able to work collaboratively with different crews across the region.

Key Responsibilities:

- Perform general labouring duties on construction and maintenance projects
- Assist with parks, tree, roadside, and infrastructure maintenance works
- Carry out natural area operational works
- Basic concrete formwork, placement, and finishing
- Lay pipes and assist with signage installation/repairs and traffic control devices
- Secure loads using ropes and inspect/store slings safely
- Handle and safely dispose of materials and waste
- Operate and maintain plant, tools,



and PPE in accordance with safety procedures
- Work across various crews and locations to support operational requirements

About You:

- Previous arboriculture or tree maintenance experience required
- Strong communication and teamwork skills
- Ability to follow safety instructions and read basic plans
- Demonstrated experience in a similar labouring or maintenance role
- Positive attitude and willingness to work across different teams and locations
