Qualifications & experience
Bachelor degree in Speech Pathology
Driver's licence
Experience working with individuals with disabilities and knowledge of NDIS processes is preferred but not required!
Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Ability to work independently and as part of a mobile healthcare team
Tasks & responsibilities
Conduct comprehensive speech and language assessments for NDIS participants
Develop personalised, participant-centered treatment plans in consultation with NDIS participants and their support teams
Provide speech therapy services to NDIS participants in various community settings, including their homes and schools
Collaborate closely with other allied health professionals, caregivers, and NDIS support coordinators to ensure holistic care
Continuously monitor and adjust treatment plans to meet the evolving needs and goals of NDIS participants
Educate and empower NDIS participants and their families/caregivers on communication strategies and exercises
Maintain accurate and thorough records and documentation for NDIS reporting requirements
Stay updated with best practices and evidence-based approaches in speech therapy
