Due to continued business growth and increasing demand for our products, we're introducing an additional Night Shift and are looking for an experienced Packing Machine Operator to join us on a permanent full-time basis

About the Role

As a Packing Machine Operator, you will play a key role in keeping our production lines running safely, efficiently, and to the highest quality standards. While this position will primarily support our growing pastry production, you will work across our packing operations to ensure products are packaged and dispatched to our customers on time.

Responsibilities include:

- set-up and start-up of packing equipment
- Troubleshooting machinery during production runs and completing end-of-shift shutdowns
- Ensuring packaging materials and supplies are sufficiently stocked
- Assisting with product changeovers and basic preventative maintenance
- Operating equipment including metal detectors, x-ray systems, check weighers, sleevers, case packers, labellers,



and manual packing stations
- Performing quality checks and maintaining accurate production documentation
- Setting up and adjusting machinery and resolving basic mechanical issues
- Maintaining hygiene and sanitation standards in line with HACCP and GMP
- Supporting safe start-up and shutdown procedures
- Meeting production targets and monitoring line performance
- Working safely, responsibly, and in accordance with company quality systems

About You:

Full training will be provided to the right individual; however, preference will be given to candidates who have:

- Previous machine operating experience, ideally within high-volume FMCG, food, or healthcare manufacturing
- Knowledge of HACCP, food safety, quality, and safety principles
- Solid attention to detail and a positive, can-do attitude
- The ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced manufacturing environment
- Willingness to learn a range of equipment and production processes
- Reliability and commitment to working permanent night shift

What We Offer

Night Shift: 11:30 pm - 8:00 am

9-day fortnight (every second Friday off)
