Brisbane Smile Boutique is growing, and we're excited to offer an opportunity for an experienced Full-Time Dental Assistant to join our exceptional team!

Located in Spring Hill, Brisbane Smile Boutique is a privately owned, high-end dental practice dedicated to providing outstanding patient care in a welcoming, supportive, and professional environment. We pride ourselves on creating beautiful smiles while building lasting relationships with our patients.

Our clinical team consists of two experienced female dentists with a strong focus on cosmetic, orthodontic, implant, and general dentistry, supported by a highly skilled Oral Health Therapist. As we continue to grow, we're looking for someone who is passionate about dentistry and enjoys working as part of a collaborative, high-performing team.

About the Role

This is a full-time position working Monday to Friday, with occasional Saturday flexibility.

Key Responsibilities

- Provide exceptional chairside assistance across a wide range of dental procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient care.
- Perform accurate dental charting and clinical note recording.
- Deliver efficient four-handed dentistry during complex procedures.
- Assist dentists with treatment planning preparation and patient education.
- Coordinate laboratory work, including crowns, implants, aligners, and orthodontic appliances.
- Operate digital imaging and intraoral scanning equipment.
- Maintain the highest standards of infection control, sterilisation, and clinical protocols.

Reception

- Welcome patients and provide an exceptional front-of-house experience.
- Manage appointments and assist with scheduling.
- Answer phone and email enquiries professionally.
- Process payments and health fund claims.
- Support the daily administration and organisation of the practice.

About You





You'll be someone who genuinely enjoys helping people and takes pride in delivering an outstanding patient experience.

- At least 1 year of dental assisting experience within a dental practice.
- At least 1 year of dental reception experience.
- Strong chairside assisting skills across a range of dental procedures.
- Excellent organisational and time management skills.
- Confidence working in both clinical and reception environments.
- Outstanding communication and interpersonal skills.
- A qualified presentation and positive attitude.
- Reliability, initiative, and the ability to work well within a team.
- Experience using D4W (Dental4Web) is highly regarded.
