Are you hands-on, reliable, and take pride in a job well done? We're looking for a Maintenance Assistant to help keep our properties safe, functional, and well-maintained.

About the Role

This is a varied, active role where no two days look the same. You'll support routine building maintenance, painting, minor electrical and plumbing repairs, carpentry, and landscaping, while working alongside tradespeople and following safety protocols across all company locations.

What You'll Do

- Carry out general building maintenance, painting, and minor repairs (electrical, plumbing, carpentry, HVAC)
- Assist tradespeople including welders, carpenters, and painters
- Maintain company properties and landscaping areas
- Handle materials, equipment, and power tools safely
- Complete administrative tasks such as maintenance reports and forms
- Keep track of supplies and equipment, reporting needs to your supervisor
- Respond to emergency maintenance calls as required
- Follow all safety measures and risk assessments,



including when travelling between locations

What We're Looking For

- At least 2 years' experience in a similar maintenance role
- A calm, professional, and patient approach under pressure
- Strong communication skills and genuine customer focus
- Valuable attention to detail and time management
- Physically capable of lifting, pushing, and pulling equipment, and working outdoors in varying weather
- A team player with initiative and a positive attitude to change

What You'll Need

- Own PPE compliance: sturdy/steel-capped boots, long pants, long-sleeved shirt, safety glasses, and ear protection when required
- Willingness to work outdoors, around machinery, and in moderate to loud noise environments
