The Workshop Service Technician is responsible for the provision of detailed and efficient diagnostic, maintenance and repairs of Liebherr mobile cranes to meet customer demands and minimise downtime. The role also encompasses providing the highest level of customer service and maintaining a safe workplace.
Key responsibilities
- Diagnose and repair faults on electrical, hydraulic, mechanical and pneumatic components on Liebherr mobile cranes
- Carry out preventative maintenance and servicing on Liebherr mobile cranes
- Carry out diagnostics and examinations using specialised tools and equipment
- Request required spare parts for timely completion of jobs
- Operate repair equipment including mobile lifting equipment
- Accurately complete documentation including timesheets, maintenance records and any customer or site specific documentation required
- Maintain a clean and safe work environment
- Maintain effective relationships with customers and assist customers with maintenance planning
- Receive and provide on-the-job training to acquire and share knowledge of Liebherr mobile cranes
- Ensure personal health and safety performance and behaviour do not adversely affect the health and safety of others
- Comply with Quality Assurance and Health Safety and Environmental policy and procedures
- Alert the organisation of potential or known problems that affect the quality of LAS products and services
- Initiate recommendations for improvement of the organisation’s policies and processes
- Other duties as directed
About you
Essential
- A recognised trade qualification in the mechanical,
electrical or electronics field
- Current driver’s license
- Liebherr mobile crane maintenance experience
Preferred
- High risk licences: forklift, EWP, basic rigging, overhead crane
- Working at heights certificate
