Position Title: Fundraising and Services Administrator: Social, Community, Home Care and Disability Services Industry Award (SCHADS 1.3)
Employment Type: Full Time Location: Ashgrove Office, Brisbane (with 1 day remote work after probation)
Reports to: Manager, Fundraising and Services Works closely with: Services, Finance Team, Services Team, Trusted Care Managers, Bookshop Team, Volunteers, Community Fundraisers

Cystic Fibrosis Queensland is a not-for-profit organisation dedicated to improving the lives of people living with cystic fibrosis. In partnership with other organisations, we provide services, support, education, advocacy, and fund research. Our national NDIS-registered business, Trusted Care, channels revenue back into member services.
Primary Purpose of the Position
To provide integrated coordination of community fundraising efforts and operational services support across the business. The role supports community engagement and revenue generation through events and campaigns while ensuring internal systems (HR, IT, CRM, memberships, and government contracts) run smoothly. This role requires a high degree of initiative, organisation, and a passion for cause-driven work.
Key Responsibilities
Community Fundraising and Engagement
- Develop and deliver community fundraising strategies and events (e.g., 65 Roses, Giving Day).
- Act as main liaison for fundraisers, providing guidance, resources, and support.
- Manage digital and peer-to-peer fundraising platforms (e.g., Raisely, GoFundraise).
- Create and deliver fundraising communications,
including EDMs and social media content.
- Build relationships with schools, clubs, workplaces, and corporate supporters.
- Support and supervise community and office volunteers and interns.
Operational Administration
- Provide administrative support to CEO and cross-functional teams.
- Maintain CRM system (Salesforce) including data integrity, membership updates, and reconciliation with banking.
- Manage internal IT functions, liaising with external providers for maintenance and improvements.
- Oversee website updates to ensure functionality and cybersecurity.
- Draft and maintain internal policies and procedures.
- Manage and acquit grants and government contracts in collaboration with CEO.
HR and Office Support
- Recruit, onboard, and manage volunteers and interns.
- Document workflows and administrative processes for continuity and compliance.
- Ensure membership renewals are accurate and up to date and that membership subsidies and claims are acquitted in a timely manner.
Website and Digital Content Alignment
- Update and maintain website content to ensure alignment with current campaigns, services, and brand guidelines.
- Monitor analytics to optimise digital fundraising performance and supporter engagement.
Advocacy and Storytelling
- Collaborate with members and supporters to collect and share impactful stories that enhance fundraising and advocacy efforts.
- Write successful grant applications on behalf of fundraising and services and acquit within the rules and expectations of the agreements.
Key Performance Indicators
- Growth in fundraising revenue and participation.
- Accurate and timely reporting on grants, campaigns, and CRM data.
- Office systems and technology are functional, secure, and up to date.
- Stakeholder satisfaction with service and engagement.
Knowledge, Skills and Experience
- Minimum 2 years' experience in community fundraising and/or operations roles (essential)
- Solid event coordination and stakeholder engagement skills (desirable)
- High-level administrative and organisational abilities (essential)
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office, CRM systems (Salesforce preferred), and Canva/Adobe Creative Suite (desirable).
- Experience with grant writing, acquittals, and contract management (highly desirable).
- Understanding of the NDIS, disability support, or health charities (desirable).
