About the role:

Carinity Education –Gladstone is seeking a passionate andproactive Attendance and Inclusion Support Worker (AISW) to joinour dedicated team.

In this rewarding role, you will play a key part in promotingstudent engagement, attendance, and inclusion by supporting youngpeople with diverse learning and wellbeing needs. Working closelywith the Youth Worker team, you will help ensure students aresupported to overcome barriers to learning and achieve positiveeducational outcomes.

As the AISW, you will:

- Coordinate and support student attendance, enrolment, andengagement processes.
- Monitor and maintain Individual Learning Plans to ensurestudents receive targeted support.
- Work collaboratively with the Deputy Principal andCurriculum Coordinator to meet NCCD requirements.
- Build strong relationships with students, families,schools, and external stakeholders to enhance studentoutcomes.
- Model best-practice inclusion and support strategies thatfoster a safe, welcoming, and inclusive learningenvironment.

What do I need for the role?

- Diploma or Bachelor qualification in Counselling,Psychology, or Social Work
- Demonstrated experience in the development, implementationand monitoring of student attendance, census and diagnostictesting
- Experience in leading and supervising a team of YouthWorkers working within a challenging environment and applyingeffective time management skills
- Possession of a valid Driver’s Licence and/or BusLicence
- Current Working with Children Check (Blue Card)
- TCI training is advantageous for this role
