Position Requirements

Composite/Boat Building experience

Experience setting up and operating vacuum infusion equipment desirable

Experience using hand tools

A focus on quality and delivery

Must understand how to read engineering drawings

Understanding of and commitment to OH&S; and QA policies and procedures

Forklift licence (Advantageous)

Australian Residency (Essential)

Qualifications Required

Position experienced based, but any Composite trade qualificationwelcomed

Primary Responsibilities Include

Learning to manufacture structural components using vacuum infusion techniques.





Learning to manufacture composite parts using hand laminating techniques

Maintaining and cleaning moulds

Cutting materials such as fibreglass and vacuum bagging materials as required

Marking out, cutting and shaping of composite parts to engineering drawings

Assembling composite parts and structures with a variety of materials and techniques

Spray Painting, sanding and detailing parts

Working as part of a team to achieve production goals and deadlines

Ensure Company policies and procedures are followed

Ability to work with minimum supervision, and have a keen eye as to the detail of finished products

Must be reliable

Works effectively both within a team or individually

Well-developed communication skills both written and verbal

Robust work ethic and pride in workmanship

Attention to detail and ability to deliver a quality product
