Role: Site Supervisor - Industrial Protective Coatings & Linings, Industrial Cleaning and Surface Preparation
Rate: $70+ per hour with overtime and penalties negotiable
Location: FIFO/DIDO various locations Australia wide

Summary

The role requires end-to-end delivery of site projects and encompasses the full spectrum of services we deliver to our industrial clients. Our head office is based in Wingfield (South Australia) with satellite operations throughout Australia.

We are looking for an experienced site supervisor with proven industry experience to join our team in a site supervising leadership role. Site Supervisors lead a team of trades staff, relative personnel and contractors. The role is multifaceted and requires a highly experienced supervisor with integrated responsibility for leadership, organisation, logistics, safety and delivering quality results.

Specific duties and responsibilities

Including but not limited to:





Supervising and delivering projects to the highest of standards and meeting client expectations.

Understanding and maintaining quality control techniques and recording documentation.

Work in accordance with relevant product specifications and standards.

Reporting to the General Manager.

Hands-on approach will be required.

Desired character and personal qualities

Great verbal and written communication skills.

Strong attention to detail and ability to produce high-quality work.

Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and work around tight deadlines.

Organised with the ability to prioritise competing demands and utilise downtime effectively.

Willing to submit to random drug and alcohol testing.

Physically fit and able to perform demanding works, stand for long periods of time and perform repetitive tasks.

Experience, knowledge and skill requirements

At least 15 years experience in the industry.

Experienced understanding of coating systems and their application.

Strong organisational skills, specifically the ability to manage multiple projects, prioritise commitments and meet critical deadlines.

Proven ability to work independently and in a supervisory role leading a team,



manage a team's performance and work with initiative to achieve expected outcomes.

Good use of modern technology including emails, computers, devices and different phone apps.

Possesses a sound knowledge of work, health and safety, industrial relations and communication processes and is able to use this knowledge in training and leading the work of others.

Training, licences and qualifications

Required:

Industry white card

Previous Industry qualifications or certifications

NACE coating inspector certification

HRWL EWP (over 11m) licence

Heavy vehicle driver's license

UHP Water Jetting ticket

Confined spaces ticket

Working at heights ticket

Full time and casual opportunities with penalty rates, overtime and remote allowances are available. Working hours, rosters and swings are open for discussion. Position available for immediate start.
