We are seeking a reliable and motivated Glazing Trade Assistant to join our team. This hands-on role involves assisting qualified glaziers with the installation, repair, and replacement of glass and glazing products across residential and commercial projects. The ideal candidate is physically fit, safety-conscious, and eager to learn the glazing trade while working in a supportive team environment.

Key Responsibilities

Assist glaziers with installing and replacing glass, mirrors, shower screens, splashbacks, windows, doors, flyscreens, and other glazing products.

Load, unload, and safely transport glass and materials to and from worksites.

Prepare materials, tools, and equipment for daily jobs.

Carry out site preparation, clean-up, and waste disposal.

Operate hand and power tools safely and effectively.

Follow workplace health and safety procedures at all times.

Maintain company vehicles, tools, and equipment in good condition.

Provide professional and friendly customer service on-site.





Work collaboratively with the team to complete jobs efficiently and to a high standard.

Perform other duties as directed by the Operations Manager or Lead Glazier.

Skills & Experience

Strong work ethic and positive attitude.

Physically fit and capable of manual handling.

Ability to work safely in a team environment.

Good communication and problem-solving skills.

Reliable, punctual, and willing to learn.

Previous experience in glazing, construction, or a trade assistant role.

White Card (Construction Induction).

Experience using hand and power tools.

Forklift, EWP, or Working at Heights tickets (advantageous).
