Melrose Restaurant & Rooftop Bar is an award-winning, contemporary Pan-Asian restaurant in the heart of Bulimba. We're expanding our kitchen team and are looking for a passionate Chef de Partie to join us.

About the Role
Working alongside our Sous Chef and kitchen team, you'll be responsible for running your own section while delivering consistently high-quality dishes during lunch and dinner service.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced chef looking to further develop their skills in a premium dining environment.
Key Responsibilities
Prepare and cook dishes to Melrose's high standards.
Manage your own section during service.
Complete mise en place and service preparation.
Ensure consistency in food quality and presentation.
Maintain food safety and HACCP standards.
Assist with stock rotation and inventory control (FIFO).
Work efficiently during busy service periods.
Keep your section clean, organised and compliant.
Support menu development and daily specials.
Work collaboratively with the kitchen and Front of House teams.
About You
You’ll bring:
Previous experience as a Chef de Partie or experienced Chef.
Passion for premium food and hospitality.
Strong organisational skills and attention to detail.
Ability to thrive under pressure in a busy service setting.
Excellent communication and teamwork skills.
Knowledge of food safety and kitchen hygiene practices.
Australian working rights or eligibility for sponsorship.
