This is not a narrow, repetitive warehouse role. It is a varied hands-on position suited to someone who likes accuracy, order and getting things right, but who also enjoys helping across different parts of the business.

We are a team of six, so flexibility matters. Everyone needs to be willing to step in, cover for each other and help where needed. That is also what makes the role engaging. You will have the chance to contribute across inventory, stores, dispatch, general operational support, and occasionally product assembly and quality assurance tasks.

What you will do

- Maintain accurate inventory records and stock movements
- Receive, check and put away incoming goods
- Organise stores for efficient handling, picking and stock control
- Carry out stock counts and reconciliations
- Investigate and resolve stock discrepancies
- Pick, pack and prepare orders for dispatch
- Support stock rotation, housekeeping and safe work practices
- Work with purchasing, sales and production to keep stock flowing properly
- Occasionally assist with product assembly and QA tasks
- Contribute to continuous improvement in inventory accuracy, workflow and store organisation

About you

You will ideally have experience in inventory control, stores, warehousing or a similar role, together with:

- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Reliable follow-through and a steady work ethic
- Positive computer skills and confidence using inventory or ERP systems
- A practical, hands-on approach
- The ability to manage a range of tasks without losing control of detail
- Willingness to work across a variety of duties in a small team
- Initiative to identify and support process improvement

A forklift licence and experience in a small industrial, manufacturing or technical business would be an advantage.
