The College has opportunities for experienced and qualified trainers and assessors for -
Certificate III and Diploma in Early Childhood Education and Care
We have courses that run at our Epping, Chatswood, Mt Druittand Blacktown sites as well as remote delivery via ZOOM.
We are currently seeking a trainer with experience in remote teaching via Zoom (or similar) to deliver Diploma class in the evenings. Additional remote and face to face teaching as well and online and workplace assessment may be available to suitable applicants.
Trainers will be required to deliver and assess qualifications whilst ensuring that contractual and compliance requirements for the delivery of programs are met in accordance with ASQA.
Successful candidates will need to have the following:
Recent experience in the relevant industry
hold relevant qualifications at or above the course level they are delivering
a Certificate IV Trainer/Assessor (TAE40116 or equivalent)
current Working with Children Check.
current National Police Check
Training and assessment experience in the VET sector is desirable however consideration will be given to applicants with other experience provided they can demonstrate an ability to engage students from a range of diverse backgrounds.
As well as the required qualification and experience we are looking for skills to engage people from non-English speaking backgrounds and those facing barriers to employment. We want trainers that have a genuine passion for assisting students on pathways to sustainable employment and the ability to be flexible to the unique needs of our students.
