Hockley Family Holdings PTY LTD trading as "Tackle World Airlie Beach" is seeking a dynamic and creative Content Creator (Marketing) to join our team on a full-time basis. Based in Airlie Beach, QLD 4802, this role is central to our marketing and communications strategy, responsible for developing and executing engaging content that resonates with our audience and drives brand awareness. You will be instrumental in shaping how we communicate with customers across multiple platforms, directly contributing to the growth and success of our business.

Key responsibilities

- Create compelling and engaging content across multiple channels, including social media, email, website, and promotional materials
- Develop and execute content calendars that align with marketing campaigns, seasonal initiatives, and business objectives
- Produce high-quality written, visual, and multimedia content tailored to different audience segments and platforms
- Manage and optimise social media accounts, including posting, community engagement, and analytics tracking
- Collaborate with the marketing team to ensure consistent brand messaging and visual identity across all content
- Research industry trends, competitor activities, and audience insights to inform content strategy
- Edit, refine, and prepare content for publication, ensuring quality and brand compliance
- Monitor content performance metrics and provide insights to optimise engagement and reach
- Support the development of marketing campaigns, promotional videos, and creative projects as required

What we’re looking for

- Proven experience in content creation, marketing communications, or a similar role within the marketing industry




- Strong written and verbal communication skills with the ability to craft compelling narratives and messaging
- Proficiency in content management systems and social media platforms
- Experience with visual content creation tools such as Canva, Adobe Creative Suite, or similar software
- Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and meet tight deadlines
- Strong understanding of digital marketing principles, SEO, and social media best practices
- Creative mindset with the ability to generate original ideas and develop engaging campaigns
- Excellent organisational and project management skills
- Knowledge of analytics tools and ability to interpret performance data
- Passion for the retail or outdoor/fishing industry is advantageous but not essential
