We're looking for an experienced commercial leader to take ownership of our procurement function and play a key role in the next stage of our growth.

Reporting directly to the CEO, you'll lead a team across procurement, category management, analytics, private label and marketing, while working closely with suppliers and internal stakeholders to deliver strong commercial outcomes.

This is a hands-on leadership role for someone who enjoys building relationships, negotiating commercial agreements, identifying growth opportunities and leading high-performing teams.

What you'll be doing

- Leading the procurement team
- Managing key supplier relationships and commercial negotiations
- Identifying opportunities to improve profitability and operational performance
- Driving sourcing, product development and supplier growth initiatives
- Overseeing marketing campaigns, promotions and brand activities
- Using market and sales data to identify opportunities and support decision-making
- Working with the leadership team to develop and execute strategic initiatives
- Coaching and developing team members while building a strong performance culture

What we're looking for





- Significant experience in a senior procurement, commercial, category management or supply chain leadership role, ideally in a co-operative structure
- A strong track record negotiating supplier agreement and delivering commercial results
- A background in FMCG or chemical / agriculture / foods with a thorough understanding of trade spend
- Experience leading and developing teams
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- The ability to influence stakeholders and build long-term business relationships
- A practical, hands-on approach combined with strong strategic thinking
- Relevant tertiary qualifications will be highly regarded
- Senior leadership position reporting directly to the CEO
