Tetris Group is seeking a skilled and experienced Pipe Fitter to join our team in Yatala, Queensland. As a Pipe/Fitter, you will play a crucial role in the installation of industrial piping systems. This is a casual role, offering flexibility and the opportunity to work on a variety of projects within our dynamic organisation with plenty of overtime available.
What you'll be doing
Read and interpret drawings, diagrams, and specifications to plan and execute pipe fitting tasks
Measure, cut, thread, and assemble pipes and related materials to industry standards
Perform welding and fabrication tasks to join pipes and fittings, following appropriate safety protocols
Trade qualification in pipe fitting and or plumbing is required for this position
Inspect and test completed pipe systems to ensure proper function and compliance with regulations
Collaborate with team members to troubleshoot and resolve any issues that arise during installation or maintenance
Maintain a clean and organised work environment, following all health and safety procedures
What we’re looking for
Proven experience as a Pipe Fitter/Plumber, preferably in the Trades & Services industry
Minimum of 3-5 years of pipe fitting experience is required
Robust knowledge of pipe fitting techniques, welding, and industry best practices
Ability to read and interpret technical drawings and specifications
Excellent problem-solving and critical thinking skills to tackle complex challenges
Commitment to safety and a proactive approach to risk management
Good communication and teamwork skills to collaborate effectively with colleagues
Australian work rights are required for this position
