The Role
Based in our Cambridge workshop, we are seeking an experienced and motivated Senior Cabinet Maker, to join our growing team. This is a hands-on role suited to a highly skilled tradesperson who takes pride in delivering quality workmanship across both workshop and in office installation environments.
Working on a diverse range of residential joinery projects, you will play a key role in manufacturing,
assembling and installing custom cabinetry while providing leadership and support to apprentices and fellow tradespeople.
Key Responsibilities
- Manufacture and install high quality bespoke joinery for residential and commercial project.
- Lead internal teams in the workshop and on customer sites.
- Work accurately from detailed drawings and specifications.
- Ensure professional and well communicated interactions with clients on job installations and follow-ups.
- Demonstrateawillingness to embraceandlearnnew technologyas best applied to specific jobs.
- Collaborate with the design team to ensure successful project delivery.
- Support and mentor the skill development ofapprentices and junior tradespeople.
About You
- 5–10+ years' experience as a Cabinet Maker, Joiner or similar trade professional.
- Extensive experience in the manufacture and installation of custom cabinetry.
- Proven ability to lead and support team and apprentice development.
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Highly proficient in reading and interpreting technical drawings, plans and specifications.
