The Palmwoods Hotel is situated in the Sunshine Coat Hinterland and has a great reputation for providing the best in live entertainment, great service and fantastic food. In addition, three retail outlets make up the overall Palmwoods Hotel business.

We are looking for someone to fill the position of Bistro Manager at the Palmwoods Hotel.

The successful applicant will need to demonstrate:

A minimum 1 years experience as a Manager in a busy hotel bistro or restaurant

Proven success in hospitality management

Outstanding standards of customer service with a bright and friendly personality.

Good presentation and attention to detail

The ability to work within a team environment and be able to work without supervision

Ability to professionally supervise, train and direct staff

Love of and knowledge of food and wine

Able to work in a team environment with a cool head under pressure

Outstanding communication skills with customers and other staff

Functions experience would be an advantage

RSA and RSG

Flexibility to work split shifts and cover any hour of the day, any day of the week in particular Fridays, Saturdays and Sundays and public holidays.

You must be able to maintain good customer service and give them an unforgettable experience. We are seeking an enthusiastic individual looking for long term employment and a career within this industry. Successful applicant must be available to work any days and nights required by the business (including public holidays). 42.5 hour working week.

Ideally the successful candidate will possess strong supervisory skills, be motivated and willing to learn.

A negotiable market basedsalary based on previous roles and experience levels will be offered to the right candidate.
