If you're ready to move beyond the job queue and into a role with real commercial weight, this one's worth a look.
This isn't a standard coordination role. It sits at the commercial end of a fast-growing, national facilities management business where you're coordinating works, building quotes and protecting margin across some of Australia's most recognisable organisations in aged care, education, disability services and government.
The coordination team is at capacity with growing job volume and this role is part of that growth. What sets it apart is the desktop estimating component. You'll be building quotes directly from clients, helping to protect gross margin, improve turnaround times, and develop a genuine commercial skill set alongside the coordination function.
Day to day, you will be:
- Receiving, allocating and confirming jobs across a national contractor network within required timeframes
- Building quotes and estimates directly from client work orders at the desk
- Critically assessing trade quotes against fair pricing to protect margin
- Scheduling approved works and following up completion post-works
- Managing contractor compliance across WHS, insurance and policy requirements
- Maintaining accurate records across internal systems
- Participating in a rotating after-hours on-call roster approximately every three weeks,
This is a full-time, office-based role on the Gold Coast. If you're not based there or prepared to commute, this role is not for you.
What the role requires
- 1 to 3 years’ experience in facilities coordination, maintenance coordination, or a similar role
- Experience with desktop estimating
- Experience with work order or maintenance management systems
- Strong organisation and communication skills as this is a high-volume setting
- Comfortable in Excel, used daily for job tracking and operational records
- Commercial awareness and a proactive, solutions-focused mindset
- Comfortable with an after-hours on-call component as part of the role
What you get in return
- Allowance per rostered on-call week
- Phone and laptop provided
- High-energy, performance-driven culture with fortnightly development workshops, personality profiling and external coaching
- Real scope to grow with a business expanding nationally across aged care, education, disability, government and retirement sectors
