We are working with a high growth Insurance organisation. With revenue approaching $10 million and ambitious growth plans, they're looking for an experienced finance professional to modernise their finance function while remaining close to the day-to-day operations of the business.

The Role
Reporting directly to the COO, you'll take ownership of the finance function while helping shape how it evolves as the organisation continues to grow.
Responsibilities
- Overseeing day-to-day finance operations including accounts, payroll, reconciliations and month-end reporting.
- Preparing management reports, budgets, forecasts, cashflow reporting and financial analysis.
- Identifying opportunities to automate manual processes and improve financial workflows.
- Leveraging Xero, integrated systems and financial data to deliver better reporting and commercial insights.
- Driving finance systems improvements and helping build a scalable finance function.
- Maintaining strong financial controls while improving efficiency across the finance function.
- Manage and support other finance and admin staff

Ideal Qualifications
- Strong experience with Xero and integrated finance systems.
- Success delivering finance transformation, systems improvements or automation initiatives.
- Advanced Excel skills and experience preparing budgets, forecasts and management reporting.
- A hands-on approach with the ability to balance operational finance with strategic thinking.
- CA or CPA qualification.

Salary circa $150,000 + Super, plus additional benefits.
