Casual and PPT opportunities currently exist for enthusiastic and experienced Night Duty Registered Nurses to join our team.

Wellington Park is a 94 bed modern, yet well-established Aged Care Service, offering high-quality levels of accommodation and privacy.

The Registered Nurse, in consultation with the Head of Care, Clinical Nurses and the multidisciplinary team, provides nursing leadership of the facility. The RN works collaboratively with all levels of management, clinicians, carers, residents, families, support staff and relevant community agencies to facilitate an effective resident focused service.

The Registered Nurse will prioritise their own work within established policies, guidelines and procedures and are responsible for work performed with a substantial level of accountability and responsibility. Registered Nurses will oversee a team of Enrolled Nurses and AIN's throughout their shifts, providing support and guidance and ensuring a high level of care is provided to our residents.

Clinical assessment and care planning skills

Strong working knowledge of continuous improvement and the Aged Care Quality Standards

Current Practicing Registration with AHPRA.

Aged care experience is essential

Minimum 12 months experience as an RN preferred

Dementia qualifications and experience will be highly regarded





Excellent verbal and written communication and interpersonal skills with a “Can do ” attitude

Knowledge of AN-ACC

High level of computer literacy including use of clinical software

Current national police certificate

Must be an Australian Citizen or a Permanent Resident or hold a valid work visa

Must be living in Queensland

Tasks Include:

assessing, planning, implementing and evaluating nursing care for patients according to accepted nursing practice and standards

working in consultation with other Health Professionals and members of health teams, and coordinating the care of patients

providing interventions, treatments and therapies such as medications, and monitoring responses to treatment and care plan

promoting health and assisting in preventing ill health by participating in health education and other health promotion activities

answering questions and providing information to patients and families about treatment and care

supervising and coordinating the work of Enrolled Nurses and other health care workers
