Senior Property & Fleet Coordinator
Part Time (4 days per week)
Lead a growing property portfolio that directly supports people with disability across Tasmania
Multicap Tasmania is seeking an experienced property professional to lead our statewide property and fleet portfolio, including Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA) and other residential assets. Reporting to the Chief Finance Officer, you will be responsible for property strategy, tenancy management, compliance, contract oversight and financial performance, ensuring our portfolio remains sustainable, compliant and aligned with organisational objectives.

About the Role
Working closely with the Chief Finance Officer, you will oversee tenancy agreements, property-related contracts, SDA income streams, compliance obligations and financial performance across the portfolio. You will also provide leadership and support to the Property and Fleet Coordinator while collaborating with operational and corporate teams across the organisation.
This role combines strategic property management, financial oversight, stakeholder engagement and leadership, making it ideal for someone seeking a diverse and influential position.
Key Responsibilities
You will:
- Support the strategic planning and lead the operational management of Multicap Tasmania's property portfolio, including SDA and non-SDA assets
- Manage tenancy agreements, leases, residential tenancy arrangements and property-related contracts
- Oversee SDA revenue, rental income, invoicing and financial reconciliations
- Monitor property budgets, forecasts and financial performance
- Coordinate property acquisitions, disposals, upgrades and capital works projects
- Ensure compliance with NDIS requirements, tenancy legislation and property-related regulatory obligations
- Lead property audits, risk assessments and compliance activities
- Maintain strong relationships with tenants, contractors, suppliers and key stakeholders
- Provide leadership, mentoring and support to the Property and Fleet Coordinator
- Oversee fleet management activities to support operational efficiency across the organisation
About You
You are a highly organised and commercially minded professional who can balance compliance, financial performance and stakeholder relationships.
You will bring:
- A minimum of five years' experience in property, contract or tenancy management
- Strong experience managing leases, contracts and tenancy agreements
- Excellent financial management, budgeting and analytical skills
- Solid leadership and relationship management capabilities
- The ability to manage multiple priorities and work autonomously
- Excellent communication, negotiation and problem-solving skills
- High-level computer and digital literacy skills
- A commitment to delivering quality outcomes and continuous improvement
Highly Regarded
- Experience within disability, community services, social housing or not-for-profit sectors
- Experience managing Specialist Disability Accommodation (SDA)
- Knowledge of the NDIS Practice Standards, NDIS pricing arrangements and Residential Tenancies legislation
- Qualifications in Property Management, Business, Commerce or a related discipline

Requirements
Successful applicants will be required to:
- Hold or obtain a Registration to Work with Vulnerable People (NDIS Endorsed)
- Complete mandatory NDIS training requirements
- Hold a current driver's licence
- Have unrestricted working rights in Australia
